WhatsApp has finally started using this feature again, including several improvements; this feature allows users to save your historical conversations when new messages arrive
Whatsapp has been working to improve the 'holiday mode' feature and is expected to introduce Android and iOS users soon. The idea of doing this feature was abandoned a few months ago but the cross-messaging app decided to re-activate soon after. A feature that was previously installed would hide notifications in saved conversations. The feature is currently under construction.
According to Bettainfo, the "Holiday Mode" feature has a long history. WhatsApp started developing it under the name "Ignore Saved Conversations" and stopped development. In the WhatsApp beta of Android version 2.20.199.8, WhatsApp was finally starting to use this feature again, including several upgrades.
This feature allows users to save your historical conversations when new messages arrive. In the current version, when you receive a message from an archived chat, WhatsApp automatically removes it. If you decide to use vacation mode in future updates, conversations will no longer be automatically archived. WhatsApp installs the tracker and reports that changes have been detected in the UI.
Although Whatsapp has not yet announced the release date for this feature yet the messaging app was using the presentation ad, considering that the launch is not far off. Recently, WhatsApp has been releasing many new features such as the option of permanently chatting and the disappearing messaging feature.
